Recovery Trial - Randomised Evaluation of COVID-19 Therapy

The Countess of Chester Hospital is part of a multicenter trial, with all patient testing positive for COVID 19 being asked to take part

RECOVERY is a randomised trial and every COVID-19 patient in the UK over the age of 18 years may be invited to participate. Randomisation will initially be to one of three arms: usual care; usual care plus lopinavir-ritonavir; and usual care plus low-dose dexamethasone. The trial is designed to have the least possible impact on NHS staff.
